Alumni

Newpark’s Alumni is not an officially organised team at the moment but is instead an informal, unofficial group of ex-students based around a Facebook group.  The administrators of this group keep all its members up to date with plans for reunions and other parties throughout the year.  Support is given to those ex-students wishing to organise re-unions.  This help is usually given by those ex-students who have been in a similar position in recent years.

Using Facebook as the central meeting place has proven to be very successful and in the years since the group started over 1400 people connected with Newpark have joined the group.  Many photos from the school days of decades past have been added to the group, as have photos of more recent parties.  It has become a well used centre for reminiscing and meeting place for old friends.

So if it has been 10, 20, 30 or even more years since you left Newpark, why not join the group and see if there are any plans for your year to celebrate and get back together for a few drinks.  If there are no plans why not get in touch with some of your old school friends to organise a get-together.  Let the administrators of the group know and they will offer you help and support to organise the reunion.
