The whole school community has written personal letters to Minister Ruairi Quinn. Watch the video below as some of the students read extracts from their letters to the backdrop of pictures showing the condition of the school buildings.

We are having our next meeting of the above group in the school library. To recap, the objectives of the group are for Parents / Guardians to find out more information from other Parents / Guardians of similar students as they went through Secondary School.

The French aural exam for 1st, 2nd and 5th years will take place in class on Tuesday 15th May.
Students should practice as much as they can this weekend and be prepared for next week.
It is important that they are on time as the exam lasts 40 minutes.
Reminder : answers must be given in English

The French oral exams will take place on Thursday 17th and Friday 18th May.
The examiner will be Ms Larras.
Students have 10 questions and 3 role plays to prepare.
They should be at the exam about 10 min before their allocated time.

The last newsletter of the year is now available to view online. We are trying a bit of an experiment with this newsletter. We are testing a new ‘delivery and display system’ which should give the viewer a better feel for the newsletter. Click here to go to the Newsletter page.

Parents, teachers, students and past students are invited to take part in the 10km Great Ireland Run on 10th April in Dublin’s Phoenix Park to raise funds for equipment for Newpark’s sports teams.

Newpark students competed in the Community and Comprehensive Schools Cross Country Championships held in the Phoenix Park on Thursday 11 November.  Weather conditions were very challenging on the day but the students battled through the rain and wind to complete the courses and achieve the following results.

The Cross Country Runners are training hard for their big race in the Phoenix Park this week.  Good luck to all the students involved.
The Junior Cup Rugby Team is playing their first cup match this Monday 8th November against St.Columbus College. Good Luck to them.
