Hockey

There are 1st Year, Minor, Junior and Senior hockey teams for both boys and girls in Newpark. There are twice weekly training sessions for each team. All teams participate in Leinster League and Cup competitions. Matches for boys take place on Wednesday afternoons while matches for girls take place on Saturday mornings, although some matches can be scheduled for Wednesday afternoon. Coaches and training times are as follows:

• Boys Senior Coach: Stephen Cullen-training is on a Monday and Thursday
• Boys Junior Coach: Peter Murphy-training is on a Monday and Thursday
• Boys Minor Coach: Peter Murphy & Carl Breaden-training is on a Tuesday and Friday
• Boys 1st Year Coach: Carl Breaden-training is on a Monday and Friday
• Girls Senior Coach: Vicki Meredith-training is on a Monday and Thursday
• Girls Junior Coach: Mags Downes-training is on a Tuesday and Friday
• Girls Minor Coach: Karen Clarke-training is on a Tuesday and Thursday
• Girls 1st Year Coaches: Twila Cooper & Aedin McCarthy-training is on a Tuesday and Friday
