Rugby
There are 1st Year, 2nd Year, Junior and Senior rugby teams for boys in Newpark. Each team trains twice a week and participate in regular matches while the Junior and Senior team compete in Leinster League and Cup competitions. Matches usually take place on a Wednesday after school and Saturday mornings but can take place on other days.
Coaches and training times are as follows:
- Senior Boys Coach: Morgan Lennon & Andrew Adams-training is on a Monday and Thursday
- Junior Boys & 2nd Year Coaches: Andrew Adams & Noel Mc Kenna-training is on a Monday and Friday
- 1st Year Boys Coaches: Ciaran Byrne, Dermot O’Neill and Daniel Ludgate -training is on a Tuesday and Thursday
