Q: What do I do if I’m late for the start of school?
A: If you arrive in school after 8.45am but before 8.50am you must go to your Form Room to complete registration. The bell goes at 8.50am and this signals the end of registration. If you arrive in school after 8.50am but before 9.30am you go to the library to register. If you arrive after 9.30am you go to the Front Office to register.

Q: What do I do if I’m late for the start of school on Wednesdays?
A: If you arrive in school after 8.45am but before 9.10am you must go to your Form Room to complete registration. The bell goes at 9.10am and this signals the end of registration. If you arrive in school after 9.10am but before 9.45am you go to the library to register. If you arrive after 9.45am you go to the Front Office to register.

Q: Where do I buy my hockey uniform?
A: From Ms White, in the library after 1.05 pm and before 3.45pm. But not on Wednesdays. If your team has a hoodie, your coach will organise this themselves.

Q: Where do I buy my rugby uniform?
A: You order it from the coach Mr Adams.

Q: Where do I get my basketball uniform?
A: All coaches have the uniform for their teams and give it out to the players before every match.

Q: Is it true that the library sells stationary stuff?
A: Yes, all your stationary requirements such as A4 pads, copy books, folders, pens, pencils etc can be bought from Ms Martin in the library between the hours of 8.15am-8.45am and after the 1st class is finished.

Q: Can I order my school textbooks from Ms Martin in the Library?
A: Yes, but only if you have ordered them at the end of the school year for the following school year and only if they have been ordered through the proper “ordering system”.

Q: What happens when I’m not able to do PE?
A: If you are not doing PE you need to have a note from your parents/guardian and this has to be given to your PE teacher. You will then be sent, with a note from your PE teacher, to study in the library. Remember, you must get your note from your PE teacher to say why you are being sent to the library.

Q: On the days when I have PE classes, am I allowed to wear my sport uniform to school?
A: No, absolutely not. For health and safety reasons, every student in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Year must bring in a change of clothes for PE. The PE uniform consists of a school white t-shirt and school navy tracksuit bottoms/school shorts. All 1st Years must also have a school navy rain jacket.

Q: Where do I buy my uniform for sports class?
A: From Uniformity in Dun Laoghaire.

Q: Who can join the school library?
A: All students are encouraged to join the school library. It costs 50 cents and you can take out two books for two weeks. But remember there are fines for late or lost books.

Q: What are the rules of the library?
A: No food/ No Drink/No talking/No leaving without permission. All students must attend the library for the full class period, even if their fellow classmates who are not in the library have been let go early.

Q: Can I print stuff off, like my homework or projects, in school?
A: Yes, there is a printing station in the library but you must ask permission from the librarian first. Also, if you are coming from a class to print something off you must have a note from your teacher.

Q: Can I drive to school and park my car in the school car park?
A: Only if you are in 6th Year, have a full licence and your car is fully taxed and insured. You must show proof of these documents and ask permission from the school authorities. Places for students are usually allocated on a first come first served basis.
