The Arts

A new Arts Policy for Newpark is currently being prepared within the school community. This policy is reviewing the current provision of arts related subjects in Newpark with a view to establishing a set of principles and practices that allow students to pursue a path of excellence in the arts while still maintaining a wide participation on the part of the greater student body.

Currently all Newpark students are given the opportunity to take part in Music, Art, Drama, Creative Writing and Dance in 1^st Year and Transition Year.  Arts modules, as well as the arts subjects, are available for the Junior and Leaving Certificate Examinations.
