The whole school community has written personal letters to Minister Ruairi Quinn. Watch the video below as some of the students read extracts from their letters to the backdrop of pictures showing the condition of the school buildings.

We are having our next meeting of the above group in the school library. To recap, the objectives of the group are for Parents / Guardians to find out more information from other Parents / Guardians of similar students as they went through Secondary School.

The French aural exam for 1st, 2nd and 5th years will take place in class on Tuesday 15th May.
Students should practice as much as they can this weekend and be prepared for next week.
It is important that they are on time as the exam lasts 40 minutes.
Reminder : answers must be given in English

The French oral exams will take place on Thursday 17th and Friday 18th May.
The examiner will be Ms Larras.
Students have 10 questions and 3 role plays to prepare.
They should be at the exam about 10 min before their allocated time.

Congratulations to director David Magee (past pupil 2011) and his fantastic cast for picking up three major awards at the one act festival at St.Andrews College. Saoirse O’ Coineen(best actress), Oisin Lyons(best actor) and Sian Demery(best supporting actress)

‘Richmond Avenue’, a one act play written and performed by Fifth and Fourth Year students won the Fred Lee Cup for Best Production at the St. Andrews Drama Festival this week. Denis Stranjak won the Best Actor Prize, and the group was awarded the Best Ensemble award.
