Dear Parents / Guardians and Students,

We are now taking applications for our Schlinks Instrumental individual and/or group music lessons available to all Newpark students. Please find attached information and application forms below. The closing date for applications is MONDAY 4th SEPTEMBER. Places will be awarded on a first come basis. If your child attended lessons last year, they will still need to reapply for this year.

Newpark Music Department together with the music centre will be celebrating 25 years of Schlinks music lessons. As part of these celebrations we are delighted to offer our students the opportunity to engage in ensemble music making classes. There will be no additional cost for these classes as the lesson fees have been subsidised to incorporate this exciting venture. Students can now sign up for one or all of the following ensemble classes:

Orchestra – Concert, Junior or Chamber / Choir – Youth or Community / Instrumental – Guitar Orchestra, Percussion ensemble or Recorder ensemble.

I’m delighted to welcome your new Schlinks coordinator, Amy Morrison. I would like to wish Amy every success and enjoyment in her new role.
