In publishing the 2019 examination timetables, the State Examinations Commission (SEC) indicated that as a result of the need to prioritise activities associated with the Leaving Certificate appeals, the results of the 2019 Junior Cycle examinations would issue to schools in late September. Meeting the earlier Leaving Certificate appeal results issue date remains the focus of the State Examinations Commission’s efforts.
As a consequence, the results of the 2019 Junior Cycle examinations will be in schools and published online on Friday 4th October 2019. The change to the issue date for the results this year has presented the SEC with the opportunity to respond to requests from stakeholders to release the Junior Cycle results on a Friday instead of the traditional Wednesday issue day.
