The Leaving and Junior Certificate oral and practical performance tests are to be cancelled.

All students who were due to take these tests will be awarded full marks for this portion of the exam.

The Minister for Education has also confirmed changes to deadlines for students to complete project and coursework in a number of subjects from Friday March 20th to Friday April 24th.

The DES will continue to work with the SEC to monitor the health situation in terms of its potential impact on the summer written exams. Students should continue to prepare as normal for the summer written exams.
