The annual Aran Islands trip is taking place this week, and 2nd Year Geography students have been making the most of the weather! The group got to do some hands-on geography field work on Inis Oirr, checking out the amazing limestone pavements that cover the island. They also stopped off to see the Plassey shipwreck, famous to fans of Father Ted. One of the highlights students always look forward to is the cycle across Inis Mór to Dún Aengus, an ancient fort perched dramatically on the edge of a cliff. A huge thanks to all the staff who helped organise this wonderful trip!
